Kim: The blind leading the blind
I am a graphic designer who has lost the art of drawing anything with pen and paper.
Back in my art school days I remember enjoying the "warm up" activity of blind drawing. I liked how an inanimate object, a chair, a lamp, would become an interesting abstracted work of art.
I found this definition online " A favourite with drawing teachers to develop hand-eye communication. Blind drawing is essentially outline drawing, and blind drawing means drawing the outline of the subject without looking at the paper. The end result doesn't matter - what is important is carefully observing the subject".
