100 Days Project

Jeannie Burnside: ? to ? - The Makings Of My Graduate Project

I will be using my next 100 days to document the development and experimentation that takes place on my journey of creating and completing my Whitecliffe graduate project.

Day 43:

Blister Developed

This is a more refined version of my earlier blister concept.

This concept is constructed from kitchen paper and recycled paper backing board (made myself from printed copy paper), sealed with non-toxic glue to form the blister/bubble around the contents. Both construction materials make the package more durable, entirely recyclable and compostable. The consumer gains access to the package by slitting open the blister, cracking the backing board so it folds in half (a new addition to the design, making it more functional), this creates a fold to direct the contents easily into the saucepan.
